All eyes may be locked on the former model's dramatic evolution, but the high-octane glamour in this family dynasty certainly doesn't stop with Mom.

Susan Dell, 62, turned heads alongside her tech-mogul husband, Michael Dell, during the high-stakes Trump Accounts announcement inside the Oval Office in Washington, D.C., on October 7, 2026.
Her appearance sparked an immediate wave of shock over just how unrecognizable her transformation has become. Still, the Dell family album packs an even bigger punch: daughters who look like A-listers ready to shut down a red carpet.

The Dallas Girl Who Had Admirers Sending Roses by the Bucket
Years before tying the knot with a tech titan, Susan was already turning heads across Dallas as a teen model with suitors lining up the streets. One infatuated admirer even hauled in bucketfuls of famous Tyler roses just to grab her attention, which gives you some idea of how seriously he took impressing her.

Susan grew up as Susan Lieberman in Russwood Acres, a North Dallas neighborhood, with her parents, Marilyn Lieberman and cancer surgeon Zelig "Zeck" Lieberman. Her older brother, Steve Lieberman, and younger brother, Randy Lieberman, shared a household where running together and improving their times were regular family pursuits.

She kept pace with the boys, but she also loved getting dressed up. Even swimming meets and waterskiing outings involved careful preparations with her curling iron. Randy remembered that habit fondly, telling Texas Monthly, "No one has ever looked better getting ready to be plunged into a lake and pulled along at forty miles an hour."
Marilyn's friends urged Susan to step in front of the camera, and she didn't look back. By junior high, she signed with the legendary Kim Dawson Agency, quickly graduating from glossy department-store catalogs to commanding the runway.
That early taste of the spotlight gave her a serious appetite for fashion, but simply wearing someone else's vision quickly lost its thrill. Susan wanted a say in the clothes themselves.

Steve remembered the athletes who pursued her, including quarterbacks and baseball pitchers. "She didn't get serious with them, but they were serious about her," he said.
Next stop: Arizona State University, where Susan enrolled to study fashion merchandising and design. Her eye for style was sharper than ever, even if her needlework lagged behind. "Anything I sewed, you wouldn't have caught me dead in," she confessed. "I couldn't take an idea from the page to the garment."

It is a refreshingly candid confession from someone destined to sell jaw-dropping couture with five-figure price tags. Before conquering high fashion, however, Susan faced the ultimate post-grad hustle: figuring out what she actually wanted her empire to look like.
Michael Won Her Over Without Trying to Impress Her
On the drive home from Tempe, Arizona, to Dallas, Susan opened up to her father about wanting a serious relationship. She hoped to meet someone Jewish, although she had a complaint about the potential dating pool. "Jewish guys don't like to sweat," she told him.
"Well," her father replied, "why don't you teach a Jewish guy how to sweat?"
Little did she know, destiny was already listening. Susan would soon meet a young man whose life could certainly use a little more time outdoors.

After moving to Austin, Texas, she worked in real estate for Trammell Crow. A client arranged for her to meet Michael in February 1988, when he was a 22-year-old entrepreneur and his company was still called PC's Limited.
He had launched his computer business from his University of Texas dorm room. Susan, however, arrived at their lunch at a North Austin bistro without much knowledge of him, even feeling uncertain about his last name. What she liked was how he treated her.
"Most men I dated talked about themselves a lot and tried to impress me," she recalled. Michael was different. "He was the nicest guy I'd ever met."

By the following spring, he put a ring on her finger, and the power couple tied the knot in October 1989, with Susan just 25 and Michael 24.
For her wedding, Susan refused to settle for a dress that wasn't quite right. She designed her own satin gown, embellished with gold thread, opalescent bugle beads, and baby pearls, with a silk-tulle veil and a four-foot satin train. The girl who disliked everything she sewed had become a bride who knew exactly what she wanted to wear.

Before long, their family expanded with the arrivals of Kira, Alexa, and twins Juliette and Zachary. Growing up in Austin, the Dell kids were kept strictly away from the spotlight, but fiercely guarding that privacy turned into a high-stakes mission all on its own.
In 1993, a burglar entered the family home while their first child and a nanny were there. Nobody was injured, but Susan was frightened by what had happened. "I'm fearful all the time," she testified at one of the burglar's trials.
The couple subsequently commissioned architect Charles Gwathmey to create an estate on Thompson Mountain. Their 33,000-square-foot home, surrounded by 120 wooded acres, offered a more protected setting, with security officers monitoring the grounds.

As Michael's success grew, recognition followed them far beyond Texas. They were approached in a restaurant in Paris and a toy store in Tokyo, while helicopters sometimes hovered over their home. It was an enormous change from that first lunch, when she had barely known who Michael was.
Susan Wanted Her Own Name on the Dresses
With married life came another ambition Susan wasn't prepared to put aside: designing clothes.
Frustrated by Austin's painfully dry luxury fashion scene, she took matters into her own hands, firing off original sketches to a master tailor in Dallas. Soon, sharp power suits and showstopping evening wear came alive straight from her imagination.

Soon enough, heads were turning everywhere she went, with women practically begging to know where on earth she found them. Initially, Susan just answered Dallas. She worried people wouldn't believe she had designed the pieces herself.

But Michael helped tell their friends, and requests for custom gowns followed. Her dresses became known as "Susans," with prices ranging from $5,000 to $30,000. By 1997, she had more orders than one patternmaker and two seamstresses could handle.
So, she developed a business plan and began assembling an experienced team. Linda Beauchamp, formerly the head of Donna Karan Menswear, became president. Ellen Enders, who had worked with Oscar de la Renta and Richard Tyler, joined as head designer.

Susan opened her Austin boutique in November 1999, welcoming 100 guests to a private celebration. Her ambitions were BIG, and she was quite happy to say so. "I want to build a house as big and lasting as Chanel," Susan declared. "This is not a hobby."

By the following year, her company employed 45 people and occupied three floors in Manhattan's Fashion Tower. Her clients included Melinda Gates, and Susan was involved in decisions as small as the hangers and as demanding as adjusting a gown on a fitting model.
The Glamorous Designer Could Handle an Ironman, Too
Susan's athletic life continued alongside her fashion work. Those childhood runs had grown into serious training, including 65-mile weekend bike rides through the Texas Hill Country.
She went on to compete in elite marathons and triathlons, including the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Getting beautifully dressed and pushing herself physically were both familiar parts of her life.

Her foundation biography credits her with founding three fashion labels, including the luxury brand Phi. She also served on President Bush's Council for Physical Fitness and Sports.
Meanwhile, Susan and Michael established the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in 1999, with Susan serving as co-founder and chair. Its work would become an increasingly substantial part of her public life.
At home, she wanted the children to understand giving, too. They were encouraged to donate one-third of their allowance to charity. "Their lives depend on us making sure they're grounded," she said.

For all the beautiful clothes and extraordinary surroundings, that was a clear expectation. The Dell children were growing up with remarkable advantages, and Susan wanted generosity to be part of the arrangement.
Her Next Chapter Reached Far Beyond the Fashion World
Over more than 25 years, Susan spearheaded the foundation's explosive reach and game-changing mission. Together, she and Michael poured an eye-popping $10 billion into trailblazing nonprofits and social enterprises, igniting real transformation across the United States, India, Africa, and Israel.
Their philanthropic juggernaut tackles over 800 high-impact projects around the globe every single year. Right at home in the Lone Star State, they revolutionized local healthcare by launching landmark powerhouses like Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, Dell Seton Medical Center, and Dell Children's Medical Center.

When disaster struck, the couple mobilized fast, helping forge the monumental $100 million Rebuild Texas Fund to lift entire communities ravaged by Hurricane Harvey. Susan's relentless grit on the ground for displaced families earned her an iconic spot in the prestigious Texas Women's Hall of Fame.
By 2025, she and Michael took center stage once again, picking up the coveted History-Making Texan Award from the Texas State History Museum Foundation. Yet behind closed doors, Susan revealed how refreshingly grounded their life together has always been.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, Susan and Michael stepped into the Oval Office alongside the president for another high-profile rollout of the initiative. Taking center stage ahead of the midterm elections, he touted an ambitious push to automatically enroll every eligible American child, spotlighting 70 million Trump Accounts.

Juliette's Movie-Star Beauty Comes With a Competitive Streak
Juliette has the glamour to make a family photograph feel like a red-carpet arrival. She is also a competitive equestrian, with years of riding behind her. Her passion ignited at just four years old riding Arabian horses around Austin, and by 15, she kicked things into overdrive by joining the elite Delovely Farm and dominating the Saddlebred circuit.
