In a recent interview with Vogue, Jennifer Lawrence was candid about her beauty routines, her cosmetic choices, and what she’s willing to try, and what she won’t.

The Dior fashion and beauty ambassador was at the newly opened Dior Spa Cipriani in Venice when she opened up about, among other things, "baby Botox," a term for microdosed injections meant to soften expression lines without freezing the face entirely. She admits to getting the injections but in moderation. “I need to have movement in my face—I get baby Botox, but I can't do a lot,” she explained.
Because heavier treatments aren’t an option for her, she enjoys as many facials as she can instead. “If my skin is going to be a little saggier than I would like, at least it looks dewy and pretty,” she said.

Not every beauty ritual is her thing, either. Lawrence has admitted to hating getting her hair colored and going to the nail salon. She's also hesitant about more invasive procedures, admitting she's "really nervous" about fat transfers, even though she supports other people trying them. She would rather wait and see how it works for others before deciding to jump on the trend.
She also mentioned wanting a buccal fat removal, but because people would know if she did, she’s more inclined not to get one.

On the skincare side, Lawrence recently started using Tretinoin, or "Tret," and to manage the redness that often comes with it, hydration is key for her. One surprising method she adheres to: sleeping with Desitin, a diaper cream, on her face. She said it helped shrink her pores and calm irritation.
She also shared a "sandwich" trick a friend taught her for retinol: night cream, then Tretinoin, then a spritz of water and oil, explaining, “Oil traps the water in, so you have to give oil some water that the oil sits on top of so that it seals it into your skin.”
In the past, Lawrence has also spoken about using sunblock with zinc daily and exfoliating every night. She's said her approach to beauty is about doing it for herself, not anyone else. "You just have to keep it personal," she told Women's Health in 2021. "It's only a problem when you're doing it for someone else."
