Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Daughter Vivienne, 18, Sells Her Own Artwork at an LA Street Fair — and a Mystery Man Shows Up to Support Her — Photos

Vivienne Jolie has found a surprisingly low-key way to put her creativity on display, trading Hollywood's red carpets for a street-fair table covered in her own artwork. But while the 18-year-old was busy selling her creations, someone else quietly became part of the story — and the photos offer the clearest look at who was there for her.

On September 19, Vivienne, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was photographed selling her original artwork at a local street fair in Los Angeles. Rather than using her famous family name to draw attention to the project, she operated under the creative name The Tulip Fields.

According to the photos shared from the street fair, Vivienne had a full selection of her own work on display, including prints, stickers, and birthday cards featuring her drawings and paintings.

Vivienne Takes Her Art to the Streets

Some of the pieces were priced between $10 and $25, giving visitors the chance to take home something made by the young artist without the kind of Hollywood-sized price tag one might expect from a celebrity's daughter.

And the artwork itself was anything but ordinary. According to the Daily Mail, one card featured a gray mouse holding a large pink heart with a pink bow, while another piece showed an octopus surrounded by fish.

One of the more eye-catching creations appeared to feature E.T. dressed in a pink tutu and ballerina slippers, complete with ballet shoes. Vivienne also had birthday cards among the selection, giving the booth the feel of a personal little art shop rather than a celebrity appearance.

She appeared to settle naturally into the role, speaking with customers and selling several of her pieces throughout the event. Her outfit was equally casual: a black T-shirt, blue overalls and her dark brown hair held back with clips.

There was no obvious attempt to turn the day into a Hollywood event. Instead, Vivienne appeared focused on the artwork, the customers and the simple experience of selling something she had created herself.

The Photos Show Someone Else by Her Side

But then there was the young man who appeared to be part of her support system that day. He was seen around Vivienne's booth as she prepared for the event, and the photos show him helping with the setup and documenting moments from the day. He also appeared to spend time nearby while she interacted with customers.

His presence adds another layer to an otherwise understated outing, particularly because the photos capture the pair together in a way that makes his connection to Vivienne part of the story.

The young man was ultimately identified as Vivienne's twin brother, Knox Jolie, who helped her set up the booth and took photographs of his sister's work. Knox kept things just as casual, wearing his distinctive colorful hair and floral embroidered jeans.

Knox is no stranger to supporting his sister, either. Earlier this year, TMZ reported that Angelina and Vivienne cheered him on at Muay Thai competitions, as he developed a growing passion for the sport.

The siblings' appearance together came after a series of changes in how the Jolie-Pitt children have publicly used their surnames. In June, Page Six reported that Knox used "Knox Jolie" rather than "Knox Jolie-Pitt" on his high school diploma, while later reports said Vivienne had begun the process of changing her own legal name.

Vivienne's Name Change Adds Another Layer

About a month before the art-fair appearance, Vivienne moved forward with a petition to change her legal name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. The reason listed in the court documents was "personal," according to the Daily Mail's report on the filing. A hearing on the petition is scheduled for November 2.

The development came shortly after her older brother Maddox officially completed his own name change. TMZ reported that a judge approved Maddox's petition after no objections were made, meaning he is now known as Maddox Jolie.

Her siblings have made similar choices in recent years. Shiloh has also dropped Pitt from her surname, while Zahara and Vivienne's name changes have been reported as being in progress.

The surname developments have unfolded against the backdrop of the former couple's long-running family and legal history, but Vivienne's street-fair appearance offered a much quieter glimpse into her own life.

Her Creative Side Goes Back Further Than This Street Fair

The art booth was not exactly Vivienne's first experience working creatively. In 2024, she worked as an assistant on the Broadway production of The Outsiders, which Angelina produced. Her mother has previously spoken about Vivienne's serious and thoughtful approach to creative work, particularly her preference for helping other creatives rather than seeking the spotlight herself.

That description also fits neatly with the scene at the Los Angeles street fair. There was no premiere, red carpet, or Hollywood backdrop — just a young artist standing behind a table filled with things she had made.

Angelina has also recently discussed watching her children become increasingly independent as adults. In an interview with L'Officiel, she described her parenting philosophy as supporting her children while trying not to interfere with the lives they are building for themselves.

"They're definitely individuals," Angelina said. "That makes me very proud, because one of the most important things, I think, is to basically not get in their way."

She added, "As a parent, you try to do many things, but you also try to not get in the way of this human being who has a life separate from yours and so much potential in their own mind. You want to make sure that you support them."

That independence appears particularly relevant as all six of Angelina's children move further into adulthood and begin developing interests of their own.

Fans React to Vivienne's Low-Key Day

The street-fair photos quickly drew attention from people who liked seeing a famous family's child doing something so ordinary and creative. One commenter wrote, "It is warming my heart how many young people are getting into making and selling their own art and crafts. In a world filled with tech, the creatives are gonna be ok."

Another commenter praised Angelina's parenting, writing, "Angelina Jolie raised them well. Good job!" A third person wrote, "Good upbringing. They are the down-to-earth children of celebrities.. better for them to be that humble and simple just like their beautiful mom."

And one commenter couldn't resist focusing on Vivienne's outfit, writing, "Nice to see teens rocking the overalls with one strap dangling again lol."

While Vivienne and Knox were spending the day at the Los Angeles street fair, their father was on the other side of the Atlantic. Brad Pitt was in Spain for the 74th San Sebastian International Film Festival, where he joined Heart of the Beast director David Ayer for a press conference.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad discussed the changing film industry, the opportunities created by streaming and the difficulties facing mid-budget movies. He also spoke about the importance of relationships and loyalty while discussing his character's bond with his dog in Heart of the Beast.

"I think we could spend more time on where we are the same… What binds us, what connects us, and I think we can listen better through these divisional lines," Brad said when asked about coping with a world filled with conflict and division.

His appearance in Spain provided a striking contrast to what was happening thousands of miles away in Los Angeles. And that may be what makes the photos from Vivienne's day particularly interesting.

For a young woman whose family name has been recognized around the world since before she was born, The Tulip Fields may offer a glimpse of something much more personal: a creative identity that is hers to build.
